Connect
The Club hosts events at Pavilion VII, Hotel E and off-Grounds at popular Charlottesville spots to promote connection between members. Look forward to speaker series, catering by local restaurants, winery tours, and more!
Gather
Club members can reserve meeting space in Pavilion VII and Hotel E for hosting students or colleagues and book event spaces for larger social gatherings and special occasions.
Stay
Staying on the Lawn is part of the quintessential University experience, and Club members have access to the Pavilion’s eight well-appointed hotel rooms for overnight stays for themselves and their guests.
Recharge
Spend time at the Pavilion’s lounge between classes or whenever you’re on Grounds to catch up on work, read, write, and enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks.

Who Can Join?
Full-time faculty and professional staff are automatically eligible to become members. Simply submit this application to join.
Part-time faculty, foundation members and alumni can also become members. Explore eligibility and learn more about applying.
History & Purpose
Founded in 1907, the purpose of the Colonnade Club is, “to foster social, cultural, and intellectual interchange among its members and to promote the welfare of the University and its faculty.” The Club utilizes and serves as steward for Pavilion VII, the oldest building in Jefferson’s Academical Village.
